The book is the first publication of the series tòpoi that Admira Edizioni dedicates to famous places captured by some of the most talented protagonists of contemporary photography. Ico Gasparri talks about his challenging experience of photographing the beauty of the Island of Capri. The extensive number of shots is also analyzed in a text written by Roberto Mutti – art critic and contributor to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, which focuses on classical references, on the culture of the Grand Tours and romantic atmospheres that emerge from the over one hundred shots taken by the author. The wide range of photographs - heart of the volume - is divided into three sections focused on architecture, the Caprese vegetation and the curious mixture of the two. Conclude the publication an apparatus with captions, locations of filming and names of the photographed plants, identified by Maurizio Paolillo
- agronomist expert in the Mediterranean flora - the artist’s biography and technical notes.
