MIA Photo Fair 2021

After a careful analysis of the current global diffusion situation of Covid-19, the organization of MIA Photo Fair has decided to cancel the 2020 edition, initially scheduled for March and then postponed to September 2020. Therefore, the fair will take place from 25 to 28 March 2021 in the new SUPERSTUDIO MAXI venue, in Moncucco Street, in the Famagosta area, Milan.

For the tenth edition of MIA Photo Fair – the Italian art fair dedicated to photography and moving images - ADMIRA exhibits in its booth a new artist, the Spanish photographer Isabel Muñoz. Her work, focused on bodies and shapes, ranges from the most passionate expressions of charming dances to the beauty and freedom of galloping horses on the beach.

ADMIRA has also decided to dedicate a wall of the booth to images that make you smile as a challenge to these difficult times. Under the title “The smile is a curve that straightens everything” are collected works permeated with joy and tenderness by Alfredo Camisa, Tazio Secchiaroli, Nino Migliori, Mario De Biasi, Mario Ingrosso, Stefano Robino, Sante Vittorio Malli, Franco Pinna, Eros Fiammetti, Roberto Spampinato, together with two American classics, Duane Michals and Ruth Orkin.

There will be also Pasquale De Antonis fashion photographs and a wall dedicated to celebrities: the icon of the self-portrait of the famous designer Charlotte Perriand will be accompanied by other personalities portrayed by her and other photographers.

Finally, after the enormous success of Anthropocene exhibition at MAST in Bologna, the work of Edward Burtynsky returns to the ADMIRA booth.
